Madrid-Madriz-Magerit

However you say it, Madrid is the captivating, beautiful and dynamic capital of Spain. Early in its history it was a small "Villa" or city (founded in the 9th century) of 30,000 inhabitants before Felipe II moved his court here from Valladolid in 1561. Today its metro area includes almost 6.5 million residents.
